More and more people are becoming addicted to Facebook. One girl and her father have planned to attack this addiction with money.

Digital Trends is reporting that Rachel and Paul Baier from Wellesley, Massachusetts have written a contract for Rachel to get off Facebook. The 14-year-old has been promised $200 from her dad if she can stay off the social media site for 5 months.

“It was her idea,” Paul said. “She wants to earn money and also finds Facebook a distraction and a waste of time sometimes.”

The pair have even drawn up a contract to keep the deal, which lays out dates of payment.

Here is what the contract says:

Facebook Deactivation Agreement

I Rachel Baier agree to deactivate my Facebook Acoount from 2/4/13 to 6/26/13.

In return, my dad, Paul Baier, agrees to pay me $50 on 4/15/13 and $150 on 6/26/13. He/she will have access to my Facebook to change the password and deactivate the account. This will prevent me from re-activating the account in the future. I plan to use the money for the following purposes: Stuff.

Signed and agreed to in full.

The agreement is then signed by the two parties.
